Wow... They're back! Like clockwork. We know they're coming... we just don't ever think they're going to be here this quickly. But we are in the thick of it... and there's no going back now.. even if we wanted to.

Wow… They’re back! Like clockwork. We know they’re coming… we just don’t ever think they’re going to be here this quickly. But we are in the thick of it… and there’s no going back now.. even if we wanted to.

Yes, the Holidays are a wonderful time of peace, joy, reflection, food, drink and excessive spendation. Of course, we’re not the only ones spending our money… and they have their own cliff to go over… and they may… but right now, I’m focused on the Holiday Cliff.

Every year I take the proverbial leap of faith over the Holiday Cliff… and every year, one way or another, I seem to land on my feet. It may seem like an odd metaphor, but if you think about it… how often do we jump into the Holiday season knowing how everything is going to turn out, or whether there’s enough in the kitty, or if the presents will be well received… and so on. At best… rarely.

Five or ten years ago I wouldn’t have said this… but I now know that things always work out for good in one way or another. The trick is… you have to know and believe it in advance… which leads me to my favorite unoriginal (to me, that is) saying…

When you change the way you look at things… the things you look at change.

Truthfully, folks… in my view… this is the best message I can convey in my wish that all of you enjoy this Holiday season… which is a choice we can all make… regardless of our circumstances!

Just for the record, I don’t engage in political debate. I’m officially a definitive independent. I have strong, principled views but I’m neither left, nor right. My direction of choice is… UP.

(Reprinted from TrueMarket Sales Group website)

I’m often asked about my political views and occasionally encouraged to get into some kind of political debate.

Just for the record, I don’t engage in political debate. I’m officially a definitive independent. I have strong, principled views but I’m neither left, nor right. My direction of choice is… UP.

Like many today, I see the words “political solution” as an oxymoron. I see big problems across the board with big institutions both public and private. And I’m pretty sure that if one of us takes the path left, and the other right… to each extreme… I think we end up in the same place. And I don’t think most of us would want to be there. But that’s just my opinion.

So as we get ready for another rough and tumble political season that promises to be a real hockey game, I’ve decided, contrary to past non-positions, that my enormous multi-sectional media empire will make some official endorsements this year. They will be thoughtful and thought-provoking, positive and uplifting, and most importantly… consistent with our prevailing philosophy.

Generally, when I build or renovate a guitar builder’s website I also put up a matching dedicated Big Guitar Wall for some extra marketing punch. This is really part of the win-win relationship (which is always the basis for the work) and it adds unique dimension to the project.

I recently completed a total makeover for Dave Bertoncini’s website and a couple of days ago finished his matching Big Guitar Wall. Each wall is certainly a creative work and is much like a puzzle. I have to assemble 30-35 photos, cropped into wall spaces so that it is both visually appealing and maintains an organized structure of sorts.

View the Bertoncini Guitars Wall.

Hello and welcome to JeffreyDBrown.com, Version 11.0. That’s right, it’s year 11 and I decided that it would be appropriate to call this iteration, V11. Since I’m busy and building this on the fly, you’ll see a lot of changes over the next week or two… that is, if you’re a regular visitor. I’m sure this will be a riveting experience for all of us… but in the end… we can just get on with our business.

So, strap yourself in, rev up your engines, take a deep breath… and throw it in Park. We’ll be here for a while.
